Klunker and expensive to shoot, otherwise a great shooter and gets the job done.

I had a friend that had one. They are good. But, they will shoot loose after a while. He bought a Freedom arms 454 which is way better quality and he also paid a lot more money for it too. Now the last time I saw him he shot the Taurus more because he had it longer and the I would guess he shot about 350 rds through it versus about 100-150 through the Freedom arms.

To big and cumbersome. OK to shoot but no good to carry. If I'm going to carry something that big, I'll just carry a carbine.....just my two cents.........[8D]

I shot one a few times on a whim at the range.
Same as I did with the 50 cal auto pistol.
I have bought more than a few guns that I don't shoot a lot, but still enjoy having them to shoot every now and then.

I have not heard any problematic horror stories with that hand cannon, but if I need more power than a 44 mag, I'll go with my short 308.

If you decide to buy, you should consider reloading (if you don't already).
