I know I have a Western Field Deluxe, Model 50, 16 gauge, pump action, 5 shot cap, 28 inch full choke barrel, s/n 178xx.
Receiver is marked "Montgomery Ward & Co."
Barrel is marked "Browning Patent, 16 Ga Proof Tested"
Needs a new firing pin, but I can't find any cross reference list as to the manufacturer. Help, please.

Yes, it has a square hole in the receiver;and it's like the picture
of a Stevens 520 in the Numrich catalog.
