I need a knock-off, spring, Mainspring, and extractor for a high wall..(1896 serial).
Where is a good source of parts ? Will the new stuff fit ? Thanks...

This is a rifle I've had for 25 years or so. It's a Win. High-Wall in caliber .32 Ideal, ser. no. 128557. If Bert reads this, can you give me the date of manufacture? I think I was told years ago that the gun was made too late to obtain a factory letter. And, do you know anything about the .32 Ideal? Was it designed as a target round? I still have a dozen or so original Win. .32 Ideal cartridges for it.

    Thanks,

    Hello Highball,

What caliber/cartridge is your high-wall? Is the serial number "1896", or were you trying to say that it was made in 1896?

No, the "new stuff" will not fit. I have several sources for original parts... myself included.
