german revolver

I have a revolver marked EIG MODEL E357 GERMANY under the grips. Any information on this gun?

    I just inhertited a cal 22 short 6 shot revolver made in germany. It has an eagle stamped just in front and on the barrel with an 'N' underneath. also in front of the barrel there is the number 65 with what looks like maybe a four-pointed moose or deer antler to the right and 'valor' on the handle.
    I don't know anything about guns, really. It was my grandfather's gun and the rest of my family didn't want it, so they gave it to me. I just want a little info on the gun if anyone can furnish it--maybe where it was made and when. He was overseas in WWII, but i don't really know where he got it.

    I just purchaced a 22 cal single action revolver.And am trying to find some info on it as I have never heard of this brand before. Or I would like to find the age and worth of the pistal.
    It says LA DEPUTY on the under side of the grip and there is a ram inset on each side of the grip. At first glance looks like a buffalo nickel. If any body could give any info I would be greatfull.

    It says made in Germany on the side of the barrel it does not have a "drop out" cylinder. It has a tiny emblem that is five sided with something in the middle coming out but it is so small that I cannot tell what it is, by the emblem is a tiny "N" or "Z" I can't tell because I don't know which way the emblem is facing. The numbers 82243 are on the cylinder and the barrel. It says Omega Model 100 above the cylinder. It takes 22cal shorts. The barrel is 1-2 inches long.

    2 questions.i have an 8 shot single/double action revolver made in germany.gun was imported to decatur,ga.the grips say PIC.gun is 22 cal and looks like old cowboy colt but with about 20 pounds of pull will shoot double action.i cant find anything on this gun. 2nd question is about the puma 454 rifles.was going to buy one to match my 454 revolver but i see they are discontinued,were there any problems with them or is it just the factory change that caused this?

    My references identifies it as being made by Herbert Schmidt, in what was then West Germany. Supposedly it's his Model 21. When it was imported and sold by the Precise Import Corp., they sold it under the LA Deputy, name.

    It should have West German proof marks, and be dated.

    To the best of my knowledge, all the stuff made by Schmidt and sold by PIC, was inexpensive and of mediocre quality. I don't imagine, it's worth a great deal of money.

    Thank you, It does not look like that one you have in the photo. It is a 6 shooter.It has a 3 makers marks on it.Looks to be a shield with the number 68 in it,A badge looking mark and another mark .May be 2 flags.Or 2 cylinders with a (N) under it. It seems to shoot well.I only paid $75 bucks and it is in good condition.If nothing else it looks good in the holster hanging on the wall.
