Are Parker the best of early shotguns made in America and if so why?

Contact Ronald Kirby, Executive Secrataty of the Parker Gun Collecters Association, 8825 Bud Smith Road, Wake Forest, SC 27587. They can sell you a letter of authenticity for genuine Parker guns, and can tell you if a particlular gun is a knock-off, fake, etc.

Original Parker shotguns will have the rib marked as follows:
PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CONN. (oldest marking)

PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. (later marking)

Any other markings should be considered spurious.
