30-30 remington mushroom

Just bought at a gun show 2 boxes of kleanbore 170 gr mushroom
30-30 nice condtion boxes and shells. was the mushroom head successfull? It looks like a copperjacketed hollow point?

    No...it expanded too quick for deer...especially if you hit a bone. I would just shoot them for fun and get some soft-points for it

    Was wondering about the expansion. Bought them only because they were oldish, somewhat different, nice condition, the guy looked bored, the show had crap, he took 10 bucks a box. will probably look at them for another 30 years, and then shoot them.
