Ok in the summer I carry a Walther PP since its slim, conceals well, and is confortable given that I cant wear alot fo clothing in 100 degree weather.

however..in winter I can upgun a bit so here is what I am torn between for guns
Walther P99AS in 40S&W
CZ40B in 40S&W
Beretta/Stoeger Cougar in 40S&W

Im looking for something that conceals well and comfortably. I dont like 1911's or XD's so those are out. If you have carried these 3 opinions I have listed let me know what you think.

I would add Sig to that list and take a look at a 40 cal in the sig 226, 239 or 229. Just a fine pistol, easy to take down, accruate and well made.

I have heard the CZs are nice pistols also but I have no first hand experience with them.

Looked at Sigs, but just didnt feel that good. Plus the Sig is more expensive than the others I listed.

Well, we've already talked about this in your other post.....But I really think you'll find the Cougar to be an accurate and dependable little piece...

I am very fond of the CZ's, and as an addition to that, I would look at the EAA Witness pistols that are made from the same basic design...VERY well made and reasonably priced.

I've toted an EAA Witness in 38Super for the last year, up mountains, down rivers, cross country, in all kinds of weather here in new Mexico, and it has to be the most grabbable, grippable, fast-shooting, reliably accurate sidearm I've gotten in the last 5 years.
It takes the factory 17rd mags, weighs almost nothing, and has nice flat sides.
I've also got a Witness in .40S&W I use as a GP Nightstander, but with the steel frame, it's a little heavy for my sleek frame[:D]

Pick what you like, but don't sell the .38Super short; it approaches .357 Mag performance, and rivals the .357SIG for accuracy.
Lotsa plate shooters use either one, but the Super's recoil is almost negligible. Important if you need more than one, quickly.

I second the motion about checking out the 38 super. A fun round to shoot accurately. I have the 357 Sig in a Glock and a 356 TSW in my Smith and Wesson. They are close to the 38 super in performance and slam a bullet out there pretty quicly and you can put a bunch of them in the same small area very quickly. I think they are good choices for concealed carry in addition to all the other popular cals.

I really like my Glocks. I have been carrying them on and off duty for several years. The only problems I have had were the results of several year old magazines. The guns are light weight, affordable and you can get them in whatever caliber you want.
