Bo-Mar Rib Rear Sight

I want to reinstall the rear sight on my Bo-Mar rib. A spring appears to be blocking the hinge pin (the pin will not compress).
Any ideas? Who can I send the ribs (2) to get the rear sights installed?
TIA

Hello Bill unless your Bomar is different from all of mine there is a cross pin at the front of the sight itself and there are to vertical holes in the rear of the rib itself thr rear-most hole is threaded for the elevation adjustment screw and the front hole is not drilled all the way thru it holes a small spring that pushes up on the sight so there is allways pressure trying to raise the sight if you have sight in your hand and look at the very front you might see a small hole going front to back some Bomars had a very small sping to take up slack front to back that pressed against the pin . You can install vertical adjustment screw to hold sight and then with small diamenter punch or paper clip press the spring in and now install cross pin when it contacts paper clip press pin in while slowly removeing clip a small punch the exact size as the hole in sight will make this job easier . Buy the way you can't use a rib on A "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN" Email me if my instructions are not clear Thank God I can shoot better then I can write. Cheers Karl

    Karl,
Besides my CMP hardball pistol, I have a collection of 6 45ACP bullseye pistols.
