I found a Shotgun that I need info on. On the left hand side of the reciever it has "Springfield model 67h savage arms westfield mass usa". It also has a number that might be the serial no. it is "A467432". On the same side but on the barrel it has a spade, "17x" mark and a "v" mark. On the right hand side of the barrel it has "proof tested 12 gauge 3 inch chamber an "sp" in a circle another "v". On top of the barrel It has a "20x" mark.
any info on this fire arm will help me out alot I need to know if it would be worth fixing because it needs alot of work. also need to know were I can find a manual and parts for it.

I came into possession of a .22LR top open single shot pistol by the J Stevens Arms Company Serial # 1751 circca 1903-1920.. Since it still has the J Stevens Name on it im assuming it was before it was bought out by the Savage Arms Company. What kind on info can you find and how much is it worth?

We acquired this gun from a friend, but can't find info about it. It appears to be percussion but doesn't have a place for a tamping rod. Any info would be appreciated. It is a beautiful piece.
I'm also including pics of a "deringer" that we also acquired.
    Note the spelling of deringer.http://s967.photobucket.com/albums/ae158/wvmountaineer_bucket/

Ok, I don't really know a lot about guns but recently my father, who was an avid gun collector passed away and left guns to me and my brothers. I have tried to research a few of them and made some headway but I was hoping some of you might be able to help find out the history behind these guns. First I have what looks like a Japanese model 14 pistol. However there are a few differences in the one I have than the pictures I have found( here's a link to the pic I was looking at http://www.gunboards.com/sites/banzai/Pistols/Model14/Model14.htm#Top_of_Model14_Pictures

The pistol I have has a circular trigger guard instead of the odd shapen oval looking one in the picture. Other than that it looks very similar. The serial number and some japanese writing is on the gun and I was wondering where I might be able to research the gun and find out what model, etc. it is.

Another gun I have which I am guessing is a replica is a Spiller and Burr Cal .36 Black Powder. It says made in Itali and has Black Powder Only written on the barrel which I doubt these intructions were neccessary in the day of the originals.
Any help you could give me about these guns would be appreciated and I am sure I will have some more to query about as I sort through more of my fathers things. Thanks Danny

My grandfather gave me 2 guns, the first a single shot .22 Revelation Model 100a, and a Crescent Arms Co., Peerless model double barrell. Anybody have any info on either of these guns? Thanks

It does not show up in any of my references, could you post a few pictures? I suspect that it is a copy of the Colt 1908.

Wasn't "Liberty" a name sometimes used by the Rohm (RG) manufacturer? Just an idea.

Perhaps if you could post some pictures, one of the members would recognize it, and help with disassembly.
