Encore rifle forearm

I have been told that the forearm for a 24" standard contour barrel will fit a 26" heavy contour barrel. Thompson Center lists two different part numbers. Can anyone verify interchangeability? Thanks

    My experience is with their handgun length barrels and I've found the different barrel countours require a different forearm. Give T/C a call & they'll give you specific info, that's the best bet.

    TC is a great bunch of people to work with. They'll answer any questions, give you part numbers etc. I wouldn't hesitate to call them. I shoot Encores, both handgun and rifle/shotgun and have various barrels, forearms etc.

    They've always been a pleasure to deal with and are easy to work on.
