Great products,..eclipsed (maybe,..maybe not) only by Mcmillan and a few other HIGH priced brands. They are layed up around an aluminum bedding block and finished in any number of colors or camo patterns. They do benefit from a "skim bedding" to fully surround the action and uniform harmonics.

I have quite a few of them and find them to be a reliable stock with enough strength to handle any chambering with ease. They are a bit heavier than straight fiberglass stocks,..but not enough to worry with.

I have several and really like them. They are balanced well and I prefer them over the Mcmillans that I have shot (this could be becasue I have shot many more rounds with H-S stocks). I have found that on a couple of mine that the sling swivels tend to loosen just a bit but this hasn't really been a problem and is fixed pretty easily. They do come in a pretty good assortment of colors now.
