Rossi SxS .410

I have run across a Rossi Squire .410 SxS. It is used but in very good condition. It is a F/F with 3" chamber.

I found them in my Blue book as far as value goes but I am looking for someone who has owned one of these.

This gun will be for my dad. He said he wanted one but it has taken a while to find an affordable .410 SxS.

I know these guns are probably not real high quality but as long as they are safe and functional, that will suffice.( He will most likely put a box of shells through it once then hang it on the wall)

BTW-they are asking $300 which is a little high according to Blue Book but within my price range.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

probably 200-300. I would say 300 is high end. I would only go 200 tops for a 410 dont matter what it was

To me, the value of a gun depends solely on how badly I want it. A nice, reliable, and safe .410 SXS for your Dad for $300 sounds more than reasonable. Having said that, I would try to talk them dowm to, say, $250. If they will not come down, I say buy it anyway and put a smile on
    Dad's face.[8D]

I have an old Stevens 311 .410 . I shot a few doves with it this season. 3" #8 shot 11/16 oz. = almost the same number of pellets as a 12 gauge 2 3/4 with #6 shot. Birds fold right up when shot.
