sxs 16 gauge

I just purchased a sxs 16 gauge and the only writing on it is KINGNITRO and the numbers 377 on the barrel,receiver and the metal part of the forarm. If anyone with any info on this arm would let me know something I would greatly appreciate it.

    My reference notes that King Nitro was a Trade Name used on Stevens shotguns. They were made for the Shapleigh Hardware Co. of St. Louis. This would date to between the First & Second World Wars.
