low capacity AR-15 mags

I am looking for a AR-15 magazine with a maximum capacity of 4 rounds. I found a couple of 5 round mags advertised but none for 4 rounds. Does anyone know there are factory 4 round magazines available or will I need to get a 5 round mag and insert some sort of plug in it? Thanks

Good luck
Hope that helps - maybe someone with a 4 rd mag source wil be along.
Colt shipped many 20 round mags with their AR rifles that were "plugged" with a U-shaped piece of sheet metal to limit the capacity. I can email you a photo & measurements if that will help you.

Neal, thanks for the offer on the U shaped plug, my e-mail is rlennon@drtcpa.com If that doesn't work I'll try to locate a 5 round mag. Thanks, Robin
To remove those, you drilled the "pop rivets" from the base plate and then the baseplate will slide off. then out comes the spring and follower.
So how about making your own block. Maybe somebody here has one laying around to give you. (I think I pitched mine!) You could even get a five-rounder and take it apart to actually see the block. Or just experiment with a piece of metal to get it where you need it to be, then rivet it in place.
