I have a Taurus 17mach2 revoler in double action only. Ever time I shoot it the clinder locks up. I sent it back to the facture they said it was just dirty. I cleaned it and it had the same trouble again.Anyone know what is wrong with this gun?

It is pretty hard to diagnose a firearm when you cannot see it, but lets try. When you say that you "cleaned it" what exactly do you mean? Did you diassemble it for detail cleaning? Did you just clean te bore? exactly what did you do?

How many rounds were fired through the gun before this problem started to occur?

Let us know and we can try to help[:)]

This is a problem often seen with the S & W 22 Jet (22 Magnum Centerfire) cartridge being fired from their Model 53. The cartridges have a habit of being pushed back in their individual chambers and remaining there, pressed against the recoil sheild of the revolver. Being dirty or oily only makes the problem worse. Other than detailed cleaning I'm not certain of how to remedy the problem.

Sell it quick and buy a real gun! One thing I hear about Taurus is their great warrantee and how well they do on a gun sent back sometimes even 3 times.I own Rugers,S&W ,Colt Winchester,Savage Mossberg, and I have never had to find out if the firearm had a warrantee.I would rather spend a few dollars more and keep my gun, that doesn't need to be sent for repairs, with me.

Any little bit of oil left in the chambers will cause it to lock up now and then.
Keep them dry as a bone and your problem may go away..........
