If memory serves, Inland was the only mfg of this model for the military. You could check that out. As always somebody will come along with more knowledge.

I do not believe the stock is US Military paratrooper original. My 2 cents [8D]

The stock is definitely a aftermarket commercial job. If memory serves, it was sold through mail order years ago by some outfit in the peoples republic of crapafornia.

Your going to have to sell the outfit it on the basis of it being, some gunshop commandos wet dream.

BUT Rockola carbines are among the rarest so the gun is probably still worth a bit if it is all USGI (excluding the stock, of course). What receiver does it have (maker will be stamped above the serial #; you'll probably have to kinda look under the overhanging rear sight)
Original paratrooper stocks were side folders with a leather cheekpiece.

My 2 cents. Early 90's there was an Italian company that made a box stock original replica stock for the M1 carbine. That stock as pictured is not original. Alotta nice stuff, but seems to be a collection of miss matched items.
Should sell, but don't try and market it as original, and you will be ok.

Yep, it's a Mixed Parts Mongrel with a garbage stock. Not a repro, as a real USGI folds to the side.

The first thing you need to do is take the entire gun apart. It looks like some parts have been refinished. You may even find import markings on the barrel or receiver. But, YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT APART.

You might also buy a copy of "US M1 Carbines Wartime Production" by Craig Riesch. Depending upon the exact parts, it may be worth more or less. You may even do better parting it out.

Definitely not a US GI paratrooper stock which is a clumsy looking sidefolder.
Some of that web gear isn't right for the gun or the period.
Ten round stripper clips were for the 30 rd mags which were for the
M-2. You don't have the mag pouches for either the 15 or 30 rd mags.
The later safety is nice but I believe incorrect for the earlier paratrooper carbine.
