Ruger Mk I, II, & III Pistol Differences

Can someone please explain the differences between MK I, II, & III designations in the Ruger line of 22LR pistols?

Well I know the Mk III introduced a loaded chamber indicator and side mounted mag release. The latter of which I like, the former of which I don't.

Mark 1 no auto hold open device after last shot mark 2 =hold open no loaded chamber indicator Mark 3 hold open + loaded chamber but a PITA to field strip and clean.

And...
Mag releases on the MKI and MKII were on the bottom of the butt, ala Eastern European pistols. The new MKIII has a mag release on the left of the frame just behind and below the trigger guard.
