NOT a collectible. Maybe not even worth what a NIB 1100 is worth.

Do whatever you want with it.

I purchased 2, (12 & 20) from the man's store last year for 425 apiece. Don't think they are worth anymore now than they were last year. Nevertheless, they are great guns
if you could get the gold bust of sam off the reciever!

Remington 1100s are hard to beat, with or without Sam Walton. [:)]
I'd try to wear it out.

No bids on it so far. I've got a $1 credit in my GB account. I suppose I can't go wrong, two guns for a buck, even if they aren't collectible, that's a heckuva deal. Too bad the opening bid is much more than that.

I believe that is Stonewall Jackson. Born January 21, 1824.

    Am I missing something?
General Lee was born on January 19th
Andy Jackson was born March 15, 1767

or were you referring to a different Lee & Jackson?

Once upon a time there was a Holiday in Virginia known as Robert E. Lee's Birthday. Then it was changed to honor Robert E. Lee's and Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson's birthdays. Then the rest of the country adopted the third Monday in January as Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior Day and started giving Virginia a hard time about not having a "King Day". Virginia got tired of hearing about it, but didn't have room on the calendar for another Holiday. Hence "Lee - Jackson - King Day".
