hello all, just wanting to know your thoughts on a good shot-gun for rabbit hunting this fall.

They get heavy quick. I use a Ithica 16ga featherlight.

2) Fit
You can spend a bunch of money on a great shotgun, but if it doesn't fit you properly you will not be able to shoot it well. Here are a few examples of what I would find as great rabbit guns in each price range:

Like I said, anything can be great for rabbits, as you can see I prefer a 20 gauge. Keep the barrel around 26" and make sure it has a Mod. or Full choke and you'll be fine.

About any shotgun you like will do the job. Real men use .22's.
