    Is the frame detail stripped?

One of the smiths at the former Grendel plant told me it requires a jig and winder to re-install the mainspring.

Even after Grendel was gone, I had one repaired by a smith at Kel-Tec, who was familiar with the Grendel line. Kel-Tec does not do factory repair on Grendel guns, but this one fellow did, on his own time. Kel-Tec used to be Grendel, you know.

O.K. the frame insert assembly (w-hammer&spring) is assembled ? needs to be placed into the grip frame in a way??? that it will function ???
I called and talked to a service rep @ keltec , guy kind od got a little nasty when I asked about 'grendels' , he stated just the opisite , that the two were Not connected in any way ??? so go figure ?
Anyhow , just looking for some-one who knows what the trick to this assembly is or is willing to try it !
    Thanks !!!

abc, Gunnut505 collects Grendels and has had a bunch. I will bet he can give you the answer if you drop him an e-mail (he doesn't get hear much). You can blame it on me, and I will buy him coffee to make it up.

Sorry Man, I owned a couple of the p10s, but I never got curious enough to actually take one apart. Looking in there with all the springs and pins and unfamiliar parts really got me to the point where I just sold 'em before something broke.
Grendel(a character from Beowulf; NOT George Kelgren- I can't believe I posted that) was the designer of some really neat rifles as well, but he never was associated with Kel-Tec, officially.
I did see a poster on the auction side offering a manual....
The jig/winder sounds about right; what else to expect from a gun that can't drop the magazine?

George Kelgren is the designer of the Grendels and Keltecs.
