Ballpark value on S&W 36

Picked up a S&W 36 last weekend and was wanting to know a ballpark value on it. I can't provide pictures for two reasons: One, I don't know of a good website that I can post them on and Two, all I have is a cell phone with a camera. OK, back to the gun. This is a picture from a gunbroker auction that is like my gun.
It is a 2 inch barrel, 38 Special, no internal lock, no floating firing pin, serrated trigger, ejector button is not flat but is not the new style.I would say the bluing, on mine, is about 50 to 75% the main ware is on the left side of the barrel and other places indicating that it was carried a lot. The number of the gun is 72374X, there is no dash or letter after the model number. Thank you for any help.

A lot of folks are snapping up the pre-lock S&W's for some reason just like some folks swear by the pinned and recessed S&W vs. non-pinned and recessed models. There used to be a zillion model 19's available for very little, lately I see decent M-19 going for a lot more than I would pay, i.e. model 19, 6" barrel, nickel, original stocks, pinned and recessed = $550.00 and folks arguing to buy it. Amazing.
$450-550
>$250.00
EDIT: Yes, these aren't period grips. Original (non diamond) are in the box gun came in. Joe
