It appears to be a "Officers Model Target" 3rd version. Per the patent date on the barrel.

It's questionable if the nickel plating and ivory? grips are factory original. Target type revolvers aren't normally found with these two features. Letter from Colt would be the only way to substantiate, that this was a special order gun, with these two features, from the factory.

If the plating and ivory grips were added after it left Colt, it would have a negative affect on collectors value.

My guess......can't tell for sure if that's a "G" or "C" prefix on serial number......Police Positive Target, G or C model (1933) with the 3rd Issue Officer's Model Target Heavy barrel.

+1 on rufe snow and Mrs 102 I think this is a made up pistol and no doubt has been refinished No collector interest but might be a good shooter if you get the rust out of the barrel and it sill has good rifling going to be hard to see those sights with all that glare.Try some hollow base wadcutter ammo it is target grade.

It's an Officer's Model Target that came with a stippled top and back of frame to prevent reflection. Finish was blued and stocks were wood
with Colt emblem. It is on the 41 frame and was furnished in 22lr, 32 New Police (32S&W), and 38 spl.
It looks like a ruster that was chromed or nickeled and fitted with mother of pearl grips.
If the bore and chambers can be cleaned up it might be a nice shooter.
