Thanks to all that replied to my earlier post inquiring about the Ruger Mini-14. I haven't had time to check this board for the last few days. Your comments and advice were very valulable to me.

    There is a Mini 14 SS LE model on GB right now, item 71879709.
    I bought the exact same model last year and highly recommend it. It has shorter bbl and short pull, feels like a natural when you swing it up. The current bid $750 is about what I paid for mine but I think it's worth the price. Accuracy is no worse [:p] than the standard bbl; but nobody buys a Mini 14 for bullseye.
