Browning A-5 Belgian or Japanese?

Give me your thoughts on these? I'm looking to purchase one and am curious as to what you have to say.

    IMHO the one made in Japan may be better quality then some of the late ones made in Belgium [:0] "let the flames began" sort of like the pre 64 Winchesters the 63 models were not as good as the 1950's model or earlier. However that said I firmly believe The Belgium ones will always bring more money 20 years ago today and in the future.

    +1, I work on a lot of brownings nad the jap's. are machined just as good as the later belg. guns.

    For all intents and purposes the quality is equal.

    "Made in Japan" is a demerit (whether rightfully so or not).

    Not much more to say... Other than that any A-5 is a great gun.
