When did the model 60 become +P rated? I've heard 60-7.

    I bought one new in 2004, it was stamped +P.

    60-7 included heat treating changes, so it is possible. However, there is no specific mention of +P in S&W's engineering change summaries. This engineering change took place in 1990.

    60-9 was change to 357 configuration, and this change took place in 1996
