Anybody like these? Tell me about the quality and anything else. I am looking at the ringneck version.....nice looking gun, seems to be pretty high quality!

The CZ shotguns (Huglu) are nice. My dads a CZ rep so we have all the samples and im thinking about buying one of the .410's they are very nice.

All of their shotguns are very nice. Comparable to shotguns costing twice as much. Their shotguns with caseblued recievers are their high end models.

They all fit real tight and stay that way. Actually, they're so tight from the factory that it's tough to get them to break open at first. After working them a few times and a few shots of good oil, they're smooth. Their O/U's have single selective triggers. The SxS's have the dual triggers. The Ringnecks and Bobwhites are drawing more and more attention at the shop. They'd be great rabbit guns!

If it's got the CZ name or logo, rest assured, it's a good gun.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

They have gotten some pretty inconsistent reviews on the shotgun boards, some guys like the Huglu guns and some do not, but there have been some repair issues. Generally speaking you do not get a fine shotgun in that price range. Gotta wonder at pretty engraving on modestly priced shotguns.

The old stuff is better and for 1K you can find pre-war german craftsmanship. The CZ's and Huglus started coming over as affordable but have gone up 250-300 in the last 1 1/2 years. If you want that type of outfit don't forget to look at the BSA
