H&R 22 cal questions

I received this gun, a H&R Model 686, 22 cal. Serial Number ay02051 when i turned 18. Its been passed along my family for some time and i wanted to know how old it is, and some more information on it, i cant find anything online. If you have a website that would help me, please post back, i wanna know the history on this gun. Thank you.

    the model 686 is a modern revolver manufactured between 1980 and 1986. the letter codes "AY were used by H&R in 1982. it originally came with two cylinders one in 22 magnum and one in 22 long rifle.
