I have a good friend that builds 50's for a living. He uses and sells Nightforce scopes. They are excellent quality. However we have probably sold 50 Weaver V24 6x24x44mm scopes to people that don't have the budget for a Nightforce and they have held up great without exception. Several people bought the Weaver and used it until they could save the money for a Nightfoce and then mounted the Weaver on a varmint rifle.

Nightforce if you can afford it. If not I'd go with a Leupold MK 4.

Unertl as well as USO are overpriced. As long as prices are the same,....I can draw a different conclusion,...but Nightforce for the money, is the best there is,...period. Show me a benchrest record set with an Unertl or a USO,.......[}:)] For REAL snipers they MAY offer an advantage over the NXS,...but it will be small for the extra money spent. They define the term "point of diminishing returns", where most NXS owners will say "I definitely got what I payed for".

Buy a Nightforce NXS, or an IOR Valdada Tacical.
