Value of Demolin Rifle

I have a Demolin .458 win mag made in Belgium in 1956.
This gun is a Demolin action & barrel with express sights.
It also has scroll work on the action & Magazine floor plate.
Thr firearm was orginally purvhased in Stanleyville (Congo) in 1956.
Can you tell me what this gun may be worth.$

Check the spelling on your gun & see if it is not in fact "Dumoulin"
If yours is actually a Dumoulin, there is a wealth of information to be had by using the search feature at the top of the page. If you read the back threads, I'm sure all your questions will be answered
in detail.

Welcome to the GB forums!
Most likely this is a rifle made with a Mauser action since that's what Dumoulin has used to several decades and continues to use. There may have been some that used Sako actions but I haven't seen any.
The answer to your question is little bit difficult since we usually don't get to see many Dumoulin's for sale here. I've notice a couple but they have been engraved and inlayed with gold. Those seem to run in the area of $5,000 USD used but in very nice shape. Your rifle has some engraving but we don't know what the condition is without seeing some good detailed photographs.
It's possible that your rifle may only be worth a few hundred U.S. dollars because condition and lack of market will drive the price. But if you find knowledgeable buyers, higher prices could be achieved. Generally it would be treated as another rifle made from a Mauser action unfortunately. Your market might have a better base for these rifles, I don't know.
Sorry that isn't much but I don't know any other way to explain it.
Best of Luck.
