Shipping question on an AR to CT

I have a pre-ban AR15 rifle that a dealer wants to purchase from me in Connecticut. Is it legal to ship this rifle to Connecticut? Are there any other restrictions on shipping to Connecticut. Thanks.

GCA68 specifically says that a nonlicensee can transfer a firearm to ANY dealer. It is the CT dealer's responsibility to know what is & isn't legal in his state. (For all you know, he may be purchasing it for sale to a LEA/LEO.) You do not need to worry about CT state/local law.

Of course, you are going to verify his FFL on EZ-check before you ship. And, you will have his money, too.
