Whitewing for ducks?

Good afternoon, I have a Beretta Whitewing in 12ga. and am thinking about taking it duck hunting. Would this be considered blasphemy to take this gun into the swamps? Up until now I have only used this gun on the trap and sporting clays ranges. Should I stick with my trusty 870 for the duck blinds instead?

Take what you want. I have a buddy who took his Beretta 686 goose/Duck hunting with us. I use 3" shells when I go goosehunting so I use an autoloader to reduce recoil. Ducks, you can get away with 2 3/4" shells. Steel shot may wear the barrel faster than lead but heck you bought it to use it.

Enjoy and post some pics of your birds
