I just picked up a Remington 514-P single shot .22 rifle. It has a peep rear sight mounted on the receiver and a globe front sight set in a dovetail in the barrel. There is no serial number, rear sight, or tappings for one on the barrel. I'd like to know how rare it is and what value range it would fetch

Hello 514 had rear sight 514-P = P--eep sight. not as many as the straight 514 but not RARE if made before 1968 it did not need a serial. this model made 1952-1971. value brand new in the box $175.00 90% =$125.00
