Ran accross a Norinco M-14 look alike in the Nato 308. Solid Battle weapon with hinged But plate and fluted flash hider.
Any one have a value for this Very nice shooting Rifle. I did shoot 2 20 round mags through without a hitch. one at slow sustained fire, the other, as fast as I could pull the trigger. easy control and pretty accurate.
How much is this worth? asking price is 500, with mags and sling.
Thanks[8D]

How does it accept 20rd mags and have a hinged floorplate at the same time?
Whoops, that should read, hinged but-plate.
I would buy it at that price. If you do not please give me contact info so I can. [:)]
Early Norincos - that is, most of those in the US - had problems that were corrected later in production. Rear sights, trigger groups, & bolts are often soft steel. Replacing all of these requires a skilled gunsmith, & upwards of $500. If you don't know that these upgrades have already been done, you may end up spending substantially more than you had planned.

great responses. I gave him 500 with the scope on. 100$ for the 800 plus 308 ball ammo. The flash supresor is open fluted, no bayonet lug.
I'll shoot it some more next week while in the west desset.
I see the gun is a close match to an M-14, operating rod is wrong.
it does have a adj. gas port for single fire, manual eject. cleaning gear in the butt.
