trigger job on winchester 670?

how hard is it to lessen the trigger pull on an older winchester 670? what would this run at a gunsmith? just trying to get it down to the 3lb range.thanks

If I recall (and I may be incorrect here) the 670 is a blind mag, slightly less expensive stocked version of the model 70. If so, the trigger should be adjustable?

Perhaps you could try a Winchester collectors site? They might well have an FAQ regarding that. Here...found something, and take his advice on your level of abilities seriously (although this is not difficult for an advanced hobbiest)
