My father is the owner of a Pietro Beretta shotgun. We believe the serial number (from the inside of the barrell area) is C64807. Other text on the gun says its a veritable monobloc. It is in average condition. We believe it was purchased in the early to mid 60s. Does anyone know the estimated cost or can recommend where to go online (or outside the web) to get the cost or have it appraised? Thanks!

Hello Beretta Is one of the oldest Gun Makers In ITALY. They have made good quality shot guns for years. Is this a single barrel? side x side double barrel ? over and under? pump? semi-auto? sometimes on the frame just in front of the trigger guard will be a model Number Like S56E. Monobloc is a statement that denotes the front of the action is milled from one piece of steel "MONO" then the barrels are BRAZED or joined in another way into this block. Beretta Made some modest priced shot-guns but also made some High grade /high priced gun . Your question is akin to stating I have a Ford what is it worth Could be a beat up [xx(]pinto[xx(] or a [:0]GT40 coupe[:p]Pictures detailed and in focus will go along way in us being able to help you.
