Browning side by side shotgun (percussion)

This gun has a butt plate that says Browning Automatic. The metal on the gun, although badly tarnished, appears to be silver in color. There is intricate scroll on the trigger guard, opening assembly and lock plates. The serial number appears to be 209101. I cannot locate a date of any type or markings in the wood stock.

I welcome any suggestions on how to research this further.

Like the Man says....Collath Action/System...Most likely a Belguim made Shot Gun...Pull the barrels and look at the Water Table under the Barrels...You'll most likely find an Oval with the letters E over LG in the center....The Butt Plate was added by a previous owner...Deffinately Not a Browning Automatic.......

With you collective help, I have been able to determine it is a Larsen & Fils shotgun designed by Mr. Hans Larsen. The gun was manufactured in Liege, Belgium. A Norwegian collector describes the gun as "fairly well made, but very ordinary." Made in the late 1870's to early 1880's. Again, thanks to one and all.

It's not a percussion gun but a back action, breech loading, hammer double shotgun probably in 12 gauge.
It has plain twist barrels. The gun looks like it would clean up well and be a nice decorator but not a shooter.
