Pressure switch

After using a red dot scope for the first time this season hunting, I am wondering if someone makes a pressure switch for them? A friend said to just turn it on when going into the woods and turn it off when coming out, but why wast battery life. Anyone seen any such thing.

Hello some of the newer high quality red dots will last for a Thousand hours or more. I don't want to throw cold water on your Idea But a wire from the red dot to the switch would be likely to get broken Crimson Trace works but it is in the grip of a pistol and for short range of a Lazer. not for hunting.
