Howdy guys. I found an old letter in a book, and was wanting to know if it was worth anything? It was still in it's oringal envelope with 2cent stamp dated 1924. It was from H&R to a gentleman in Indiana. The jest of the letter was answering a complaint from the gentleman about a barrel he bought not working with his revolver, and if he would send the pistol back they would look at it. the letter also had a 2 page booklet on the handigun. Are these items worth anything, or should I just hold onto them?

Add "H&R" to your title. Bill Goforth is an H&R collector and a regular here.

i will have to correct spider just a little. i have been researching H&R firearms for a few years in preperations for a book on H&R firearms. i do have some knowledge of H&R firearms but i am a collector of iver johnson's arms & cycle works (my true love in the firearms field).

now for the answer to this question, yes this type of literature is sought after by collectors. value on the other hand is just a matter of how much a collector is willing to pay. this type of literature is also sought by people who collect old letters and envelopes.

the place to sell this is on e-bay where collectors of all type are found or here where firearms collector are found. e-bay still accept this type of material.
