1918 German Luger

A friend has a Luger, 1918 with all matching numbers, original holster, and it's in pristine condition, with only a little blueing wear on holster contact points. No rust, and it has very fancy initial engraving on the top of toggle. What could this gun be valued at? I'd say it would grade at least fine....

Sounds like a standard DWM Parabellum. A fairly common Luger that should have two nickle-plated wooden base magazines that have numbers that match the weapon. Check that, it's important.

Hello The fancy engraving IS D.W.M. the maker of this pistol asyou have said it was made in 1918 WW I and with all matching number this could be of fairly high value the term you use Pristine and Fine could mean many different things to different people Good in focus pictures could go along way toward us giving more then a WAG on its value. My suggestion is to either post some pictures or look as SOLD not asking prices of Lugers sold on this site. There are many variations of Lugers but most original all matching with original finish and holster will bring $800.00 and up rare models can bring four figures.
