H&R 410/45

I have seen several survival pistols that carry both 410 shotgun rounds as well as can shoot 45 Long Colt pistol rounds. Can you shoot 45 Long Colt rounds in a H&R 410 shotgun? I say no due to the possible pressure difference, but am not sure. Who knows anything about this?

No. 45 Colt is .452, 410's are .410 or less. TC had a 45 Colt that could shoot 410's.

Just as you said..NO to the idea due to the size of the 45 bullet being forced down a 410 barrel..Would love it if it was safe but I'm not going to press my luck when my brain says NO NO !!Fine question..modoc
