Sling Swivel Studs for a Win. Classic Mod 70

I recently purchased a late-production Winchester Classic Stainless Model 70 (CRF) via a Gunbroker auction. The rifle was listed as new, but without tags or box. In fact, except for one small scuff on the forearm, it appears to be in mint condition. It has the black composite stock and SS finish on all metal, except for blued sling swivel studs. Pictures I've seen of other similar rifles have SS studs, leading me to believe this rifle may not be what it was reported to be. While I didn't buy the rifle as a collector piece, I'm wondering if the mismatched swivel studs indicate the rifle is not authentic or was pieced together.

Does anyone know if this rifle is supposed to have SS or blued studs, or did it come with the studs that were available to the assembly line workers on the day it was assembled? A gunsmith friend believes that late production Model 70s, such as mine, may have suffered from a shortage of assembly line parts and, as a result, rifles were pieced together with what was on hand. Thoughts?

Finally, if SS studs are correct for this rifle, where can I get original replacements? I bought this rifle to be a foul weather piece and I'd like it to stand up to the elements, even the swivel studs.

Thanks.
