I see on the auction that there are a couple D/W 357s of different era, one with the same type of barrel fastning except a different style barrel the one at auction is a light wt. non-vented, and the other is the so called bad series where the tightning nut is visable, can I inter change my barrels which are flush or hidden and heavy, featuring full shroud and venting, onto the oter frames for shooting

thanks

Yes. Any 357mag DW barrel will fit any DW .357mag frame. Now the external nut is not the bad series, just the first ones made, still good guns. Just be sure the barrels you buy are 357mag and not 357 supermag.

The barrels may interchange, but there was a change in the way the shroud mounts to the frame at some point. I have one of each and the shrouds will not interchange.
