I have been looking on Montana rifles web site and checking into thier custom barrels and their model 1999 action. They sound like they are a very good quality action and barrel. Can anybody give me any pros or cons, or like & dislikes of this companies actions and barrels. Thanks.

I'll tell you what little I know. CZ was using MR actions when they were building the Model 3 rifle. It's a copy of the Winchester 70, and I've heard nothing but great things about them. As far as barrels go, I didn't even know they made barrels. I would probably choose a barrel from a well known barrel manufacturer, just because I don't know anything about their barrels.

They have, in the past, needed final finishing and fitting, but get good reviews as far as their performance and price.

I have used both barrels and actions. Customers satisfied. They do need final finishing.
