Evening: Tonight,Gonzo, the 75 lb. pound puppy and I were walking and he grabbed a skunk like it was his chew toy. Before I could separate them, we both got sprayed. Thank God it was a small one.[xx(] We washed with tomato juice and soap but I can still smell it, taste it and feel it everywhere. Any thoughts, besides time, on making the smell go away?

You can try a *. Sounds weird but my neighbor used it on his cat, and it worked.

...sorry but I had to laugh[8D]
1Step OneMix 4 c. hydrogen peroxide with 4 tbsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. dish-washing soap.
2Step TwoPut cotton balls in your pet's ears to protect the inner-ear tissue from the cleaning mixture, which could easily drip in.
3Step ThreeDon rubber gloves to protect your hands during this process.
4Step FourStart with your pet's head, taking care not to get the solution into his eyes, ears or mouth. Apply a drop of olive or baby oil to his eyes to prevent irritation.
5Step FiveRub the mixture evenly into your pet's coat. It will probably be more pleasant to do this outdoors.
6Step SixRinse the coat with clean water.
7Step SevenRepeat if the smell persists.
