Conversion for the G-22 to fire .357 Sig

I know folks are doing this, but what does it entail? I would like to have a dual caliber pistol but have remained cautious about just changing barrel and magazine. Does it require a new stronger spring? Any slide mods?

I put a FireDragon 357 sig barrel in my 22 several years ago. I also bought a stronger spring from them. It drops in and works fine. It will change the point of impact with the lighter, faster bullet.

You don't have to change the mag. Rim, base and overall length of the .357 Sig & .40 S & W are virtually the same.

As far as the barrels are concerned you would probably get a better deal with the Lone Wolf organization. There real nice folks and have super prices. I bought one of the Korean made Glock barrels off them years ago, for less then $90. Even though it was Korean made, it was a excellent quality barrel stainless barrel with cut rifling. This type of rifling enables you to load & fire unjacketed lead bullets with out the safety problems associated with the rifling used in the original Glock barrels.
