marlin 39 serial numbers

I was looking in some past post on the 39s and what year they were made I looked at my # and can't find a year for it????it's # is P10384 the P is struck lighter than the numbers any ideal what year I have this is the complete # and I looked at it three times to be sure any one know Thanks
