Hey to Y'all [8D],
I just got a Richardson Industries singler shot 12 gauge that is loaded by turning the barrel 1/4 turn, pull it out of the receiver, load a shell and reverse the process using the "Tommy Gun" type forward pistol grip to turn the barrrel!!?? The gun is as ugly as the day is long and I can't find any info on it anywhere!!!
Help???
Thanks,
Jim

These insurgency weapons were the only thing I could find that might be similar. Check it out.

And a blurb that Google found: "Ensign Richardson (USNR) was a WW2 guerrilla leader fighting the Japanese on the island of Leyte after the Philippines fell. After the war he tried manufacturing this sort of gun in the United States, but there was no market for it and the enterprise failed."
That's exactly what I have except that mine has a Tommy Gun type pistol grip on the barrel to provide the oomph to slam the barrel back!
What a cool addition to any collector's cabinet! Watch for it on GunBroker!
