I am making some custom rifle stocks. I need some recoil pads that I can grind or sand to fit my stocks. Does anyone know where I can find these? Thanks for your time.

Brownells. The Simms Labratories "Limb Savers" pads are great.

I'll second what Brian (BHAVIN) said about the Limbsaver's pad, they are truly awsome, and so is the service you'll recieve from Brownells

The Simms are good, and so are the Pachmyer Decellerators, and the kickEez. If I am not mistaken they all make a grind to fit version, and can be found at Brownell's, Gander Mountain, Cabela's, and Bass Pro. The gunsmith service at the latter 3 might have them in their area, and you might have to ask for them.

If you choose to use the grind to fit Limbsaver recoil pad, be real careful NOT TO LET IT HEAT UP
while your grinding on it or it will turn to mush. Go slow and even pop it in the freezer from time to time for the best job, or keep dunking it in a cold bucket of water while working on it.

Thanks for your help and advice. I tried local shops and they did not have them. I will go online for them. Thanks again to all.
