M1 serial Numbers and drawing numbers

I was wondering how accurate the charts for reciever numbers and drawing numbers in Joe Poyer and Craig Risech's "The M1 Garand 1936-1957" are. Does anyone know the source for these? I have been trying to identify if my reciever is a re-weld, and I have not been able to identify any of the tell-tale signs presented by either the book, or the Fulton Armorys web site. The serial number and drawing number are only off by one category line. My serial number, by the chart falls within the D28291-34 range, but the drawing mark upon the reciever is D28291-32. Any help or information would be great!

I am unaware of any errors in that listing. But, we rarely, if ever, use the word "never".

While I have seen one re=weld that defies identification externally, even that one could be identified by stripping it & examining the INTERNAL surfaces with a bright light, as there is no way to get a grinding wheel in there. If you can't see anything from inside, it's not likely a re-weld.
