Anybody out there have a magazine or book with a field test on the Savage Anschutz 141 .22 rifle? Thanks! Harry

I have one of these excellent rifles and found an article in an old American Rifleman magazine in the Dope Bag Section. If I find it again I'll let you know. It's buried in 100's of old magazines and will take some looking.

Years ago I collected high grade .22 rifles including 52 sporters, Steyr Zephyrs, 63 deluxes, pre-war Mausers, etc. I had a 141 that was thrown in on a deal that I planned to get rid of because I thought the faux Weatherby stock was ugly. My sons asked to try it out, because it was relatively light. Long story short, I swear it was the most accurate of the 50+ 22s I owned.
